Trips include picnic lunches on the day-long excursions, helpful fishing tips and techniques, and a successful fishing experience which will provide many fond memories of one of the top ten trout fishing rivers in the world! Tim Chavez, Outfitter for Born 'n' Raised, was, in fact born 'n' raised on the San Juan, and has been fishing the river since he was a kid.

Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced fly fisher, you can be sure our skilled and hospitable guides (see photos below) will personalize your fly fishing adventure on the San Juan. No trip to the fabulous San Juan River can be complete without an introductory wade or float trip on this trout rich river!

Born 'n' Raised is a separately owned and operated business from Abe's Fly Shop and Motel. Arrangements can be made, however, with Born 'n' Raised for lodging at Abe's Motel.
