Annelids        
San Juan Worm - Brown 14 - 18 San Juan Worm patterns should be fished with weight on a dead drift.  These patterns can be successful on the Upper, Mid and Lower River.  
San Juan Worm - Red 14 - 18 San Juan Worm patterns should be fished with weight on a dead drift.  These patterns can be successful on the Upper, Mid and Lower River.

Blood Hot 24 Annelid patterns are successful in the Upper River, Mid River and Lower River.  Fish at the depth the fish are feeding at with a dead drift presentation.  This pattern can also be fished as a Midge pattern.   
Midge Larva Flash Red 22 Annelid patterns are successful in the Upper River, Mid River and Lower River.  Fish at the depth the fish are feeding at with a dead drift presentation.  This pattern can also be fished as a Midge pattern.   
Prncess 18 Annelid patterns are successful in the Upper River, Mid River and Lower River.  Fish at the depth the fish are feeding at with a dead drift presentation.  
         
Egg Patterns        
Egg - Pink   Egg patterns are successful in the Upper, Mid and Lower River and can be useful during off color water conditions.  Fish with weight on a dead drift.  
Egg - Hot Pink   Egg patterns are successful in the Upper, Mid and Lower River and can be useful during off color water conditions.  Fish with weight on a dead drift.  
Egg - Chartreuse   Egg patterns are successful in the Upper, Mid and Lower River and can be useful during off color water conditions.  Fish with weight on a dead drift.  
Egg - Peach   Egg patterns are successful in the Upper, Mid and Lower River and can be useful during off color water conditions.  Fish with weight on a dead drift.  
         
Terrestrials        
Parachute Ant 12 - 16 Ants are generally fished as dries and can be very effective in summer and fall.  If you are fortunate to be on the river during the "ant hatch" you can experience exceptional top water fishing for large trout.   
Turk's Tarantula 12 - 14 Hoppers and Locust immitations can be effective as dry flies during the summer and fall.  You may want to consider a strong tippet, 3x - 5x.
